Welcome to Queen Street Backpackers - budget accommodation located in the heart of Auckland city, New Zealand.

Our central Auckland backpackers hostel is in an old hotel built around the turn of the century so it has plenty of charm and character. As a purpose built hotel our hostel has large windows and hand basins in most rooms.

Location:

Our backpackers hostel is located on the corner of Auckland\'s main street, right at the heart of New Zealand\'s biggest city. From the hostel you are only walking distance to: pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafe\'s, movie theatres, Auckland Art Gallery, Auckland Gallery of Modern Art, shops and shopping centers, a car fair, markets, major consulates, immigrations, post office and information centers.

The easiest and cheapest way to get from the airport is to jump on the AirBus (approx $11-$13), it leaves from right outside the terminal and stops right across the road from our front door.
